This is your chance to think about and plan how you’ll represent the organisation and role.
Whilst it’s easy to go straight out to advert to recruit a replacement colleague, it’s worth taking the time to think about the role and what you need from it as an organisation and to make any changes before advertising.
For roles that aren’t recruited to very often, you should update your documentation to reflect any changes in organisational values or operations.
We recommend putting your diversity statement front and centre of any adverts or documentation, this will give any potential candidates a clear picture of what the role is, what your organisation is like to work for, and the values and behaviours you’ll expect them to uphold.
